The story of Rico Rico Bakery begins with a passion for baking perfected over 40 years in western Puerto Rico. It was there that founders Jorge Zaragoza and his wife, Yariela Olivo, honed their craft. Combining Jorge's seasoned experience with Yariela's modern innovation, they shared a dream: to bring their beloved family recipes and the authentic taste of home to a new community.

Their journey in Haines City started on wheels, with a unique Bakery Food Truck concept that quickly captured the hearts and taste buds of the town. This first step was the foundation for a bigger vision: to grow and develop a permanent local establishment.

Fueled by wonderful community support, that dream is now a reality. We have proudly transitioned from our food truck beginnings into the full, welcoming bakery we operate today. Here, we've put down permanent roots to serve our guests daily in a place that feels like home.
